Basic Handgun Safety Course:
$75.00 per person THIS COURSE IS NOT A NRA APPROVED COURSE This course is based upon the NRA's former Basic Pistol Shooting Course (which was discontinued as the NRA's approved training as of May 1, 2016). Students will learn:
This is a live fire course. Students will either need their own handgun or will be limited to handgun models available from the instructor. Instruction will include a laser training session to ingrain proper gun handling using a real gun in a safe environment. Advantages:

$25.00 per person ($15.00 if added to any other course) The Concealed Carry Orientation is offered as a stand alone course or students can choose to add it to the end of the Basic Handgun Safety or NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting, Phase II, classes. NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting:
$110.00 per person [NRA Direct Cost - $60.00; PSPT Cost - $50] This is the NRA's redesigned, blended learning, Basics of Pistol Shooting course. Phase I will require the student to sign up and complete Phase I instruction directly with the NRA. This Phase is completed online at the student's own pace and at their convenience. Sign up for Phase I can be done here. Phase II will be performed with an NRA certified instructor (us). We will review the skills you learned in Phase I and guide you in physically applying those skills and knowledge to a real handgun. Phase II will involve live fire instruction. Students will learn:

This course is NOT an NRA Certified Course. There is no range instruction and it will not qualify for a Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit. It is, however, the perfect course for the spouse or roommate of a Permit holder, a beginning shooter, or anyone interested in basic handgun safety.
Bundle this with our Basic Pistol Course and receive a discount. Your "non-shooter" can join your "shooter" and receive the same class instruction (less range portion and NRA certification).
